Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and DIMES LTD, the company behind PeachCut. By creating an account you accept them. They are short on purpose; the privacy policy explains what we do with your data.

1. What PeachCut does

PeachCut reads the scoreboard in a basketball game video, finds the moments the score changes and cuts a clip around each basket. From those clips you build highlight reels in the editor and share them by link. You add a game by pasting a YouTube link or uploading a video file.

PeachCut is in beta and free of charge. Features, limits and availability may change while we build it. We will tell you by email before we ever start charging, and nothing paid will start without your explicit agreement.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 and give a working email address. The account works once you confirm that address.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• A free account can process a limited number of games (currently 3) and one game at a time. The current limit is shown on the sign-up page.

3. Your videos

You keep all rights to the videos you add and to the reels you make. You give us only the permission we need to provide the service: to download or receive the video, store it, analyse it, cut clips and reels from it and show them to you and to whoever you share a link with. This permission ends when you delete the game or your account, except for scoreboard crops already used for training (see the privacy policy, section 2).

When you add a game, you confirm that you have the right to use that recording for this purpose: it is your own footage, the rights holder allows it, or the use is permitted by law. For YouTube videos you also follow YouTube's terms. If you film games yourself, follow your club's and league's rules on filming players, especially minors.

4. What you must not do

• add videos you have no right to use, or content that is illegal, violent or sexual or that targets a person;
• use PeachCut to identify, track or profile individual people;
• try to get around the limits, overload the service, scrape it or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission;
• resell access or use one account for many unrelated clubs without talking to us first.

If you break these rules we may remove the content concerned or suspend the account. We will tell you why and you can reply before we close the account for good, unless the law or the seriousness of the case does not allow it.

5. Reporting content

Anyone can report a video, a reel or a share link they believe is illegal or infringes their rights. Write to hello@peachcut.com with the link, what is wrong and why, and your name and email. We confirm receipt, decide promptly and tell you and the account holder what we decided and why. The same address is our single point of contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act, in English or Bulgarian.

6. How reliable the results are

Detection is automatic. Baskets can be missed, scores misread and clip timing can be off by a few seconds, especially on unusual scoreboards or low-quality streams. Check the result in the editor before you rely on it, for example for statistics or official purposes. We work hard to keep PeachCut available but cannot promise it will always be, and in the beta we may have to delete stored games. Download the reels you want to keep.

7. Liability

PeachCut is provided free of charge and as it is. As far as Bulgarian law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time on the account page. Your games, reels and share links are deleted at once. We may end the service or close accounts with at least 30 days' notice by email, or immediately in the cases in section 4.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you at least 14 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then.

10. Law and disputes

Bulgarian law applies. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country. Please write to us first; most problems are solved by email. You can also turn to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection (Комисия за защита на потребителите), kzp.bg, and its conciliation committees, or to the competent Bulgarian court.
